This week in the charts we have debuts from Cosmo's Midnight, Steph Strings, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard.

Cosmo's Midnight debuted at #10 on the Independent Label Singles chart with ’45’. 

Steph Strings debut at #1 across both album charts withFeel Aliveand King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard secured #5 on the 100% Independent Albums chart & #7 on the Independent Label Albums chart with 'PetroDragonic Apocalypse Live'.

Over the break in the charts we welcomed debuts from Mouseatouille, Tones and I, Teenage Dads,Boy & Bear, Benjamin Stewart,  Jim Moginie & The Family Dog, The Preatures, Szymon, Corrugated Highway, STÜM, breathe.,  The New Christs.

The week commencing 22ND DECEMBER 2025; Harry Vanda took out #3 on the 100% Independent Singles chart & #4 on the Independent Label Singles chart with Devil Loose’, Hot Machine secured #4 &  #6 withLeather and Steel - EP’. Iyah May came in at #12 on the Independent Label Album chart withGood Citizen’, Confidence Man came in at #14 with ‘Damaged Goods’ and Kerser came in at #15 withLast Laugh’.

On the album charts Boy & Bear took out #1 across both the 100% Independent Albums chart and the Independent Label Albums chart withTripping Over Time’; Benjamin Stewart took out #2 withJunkdrawers’, ‘Thunkfrom Jim Moginie & The Family Dog came in at #3 on the 100% Independent Albums chart & #4 on the Independent Label Albums chart withBlue Planet Eyes Live!’ by The Preatures came in at #4 & #6, followed by The New Christs securing #5 & #9 withThe Burning Of Rome : Selected Works’. Hallelujah’; followed by Teenage Dads who secured  #17 withAlone Again For Christmasand Mouseatouille secured #16 on the 100% Independent Albums chart withLive at Lithuanian Club’.

In the week commencing MONDAY 12th JANUARY; Miss Kaninna debuted at #19 on the Independent Label Singles chart with her latest single Backstreets’; while  Redgum Years Livefrom Corrugated Highway entered the Independent Label Albums chart at #14.
