Jen Cloher's much anticipated self titled album is here. Four albums into her career, this is Jen at her most incisive and witty, cutting and expressive. Her best album yet.

It's an album which plays it fearlessly close to the bone with raw and unflinching dissections of her life, love, and Australia, Jen Cloher is the culmination of a period of artistic and personal growth.

Recorded amidst the rolling greenery of Gippsland, Victoria and mixed at Jeff Tweedy’s famous Loft Studios in Chicago, the songs are split by Courtney Barnett’s extraordinary lead guitar and anchored by the rhythm section of Bones Sloane and Jen Sholakis.

Cloher says: “It’s a classic rock album, recorded live in one room with minimal overdubs… I’m not too good at going into descriptive language around my own music but I suppose it is intimate without ever feeling too precious.”

Jen Cloher's S/T album is available now through Milk! and Remote Control Records.
