'I DON'T THINK WE HAVE IT': a song about giving love the proper value it deserves.

"I’m a big fan of living life at full speed and it's so easy to get caught up in a moment. I recently learnt, that as exciting as that moment can be, real love is to always be treasured. It deserves to be valued and if someone is forcing you into a choice of 'now or never’, chances are it’s not something that you want to last forever."

At the age of 7, Future Jr. moved to Vienna Austria for 5 years. Even from such an early age, he recalls the city giving him an early appreciation for the arts. “From a young age it gave me a realisation of the power of music, that it can build up, tear down, and shift mindsets. I loved that as a kid, and the love for music has never stopped growing.”

Finishing off 2018 with a two month writing trip to Los Angeles, New York and London Future Jr. is now back within the thriving Brisbane music scene working alongside Australian producer LUCIANBLOMKAMP (renowned for his work with 6LACK), amongst other like-minded songwriters and artists like MTNS, Hazlett, Jarryd Shuker and Sam Sakr (Carly Rae Jepsen, Bea Miller, Jess Kent).

Speaking a little more on the vision for his Future Jr. project: “I just want people to feel something. I couldn’t think of anything worse than someone dismissing my music as ‘just another pop song’. Whether it makes them cry, or it makes them dance; even if it just stirs up a little bit of nostalgia for a lost relationship or appreciation for a current one."
